Disclaimer
Angela Clemmons is a Connecticut vocalist who recorded in the '80s for Epic and Portrait, but never enjoyed
more than limited appeal and had no significant hits. First single release B.Y.O.B. from 1981 stayed at the charts for seven weeks. 1982's Give me
just a little more time didn't make it into the charts. She also released a self-titled debut album in 1982. The next few years things went downhill for Angela, she lost her mother Geraldine in 1985 and friend Ralph Fuller in 1986. She also got married to Kevin Patrick and changed management. However she was still under contract to Portrait Records. With so much going on in her life it would be five years before she fulfilled her contract. A second album This is love was released in 1987. Angela Clemmons enjoyed success as a sought after background vocalist. Today, Angela Clemmons remains, as a divorced mother of two, active in church.
